The Punch Bowl Inn

In August 2005 The Punch Bowl Inn, Crosthwaite, opened its doors after a huge and locally famous refurbishment. The transformation was (99% of the survey said) a great success, creating a light, airy, welcoming Inn and restaurant, which retained a certain comfy rural charm. Some prestigious awards followed for the quality of the bedrooms, and superb food followed, along with customer

praise in abundance. However we do not rest on our laurels, and we are working hard, especially with our young chef Scott Fairweather, to take The Punch Bowl forward, whilst staying true to the friendly ambience, and rich local fayre that brought us this far.
